  • Little Princeton
  • Happy Planet - on E21 and Avenue U. The center is very cozy, newly renovated, and extremely clean. They serve home cooking three times a day. They provide pick up and drop off service. They are not babysitters but educators. Your child will learn many good things and you will be amazed with their progress. They provide music lessons and dance lessons in the center developing your child's hidden talents. They go above and beyond to make the child's experience special.
  • Mommy Daycare - on Avenue Z and Coney island avenue. They are great and do a lot of activities with the children like music, shows and spend a lot of time outside. They helped my son wean off of his pacifier and with potty training. They also pick up the older kids after school and do homework with them. Their food is excellent and they really care about the kids. They also have experience with children with special needs. (Cons-I took my daughter out of Mommy Daycare after one month and they behaved atrociously. The fact that they have an afterschool is actually not good. The older kids bring all sort of viruses from school and babies get sick. My daughter got strep twice in one month and they blamed me! they also don't tell you about the afterschool if you come will a 2 year old. The most horrible experience in my life.)

I had a horrible experience with Happy Planet Day care. My daughter who is 3 years old was mistreated by the owner of the daycare - Irene.
She claimed that my daughter was autistic which is a complete lie. My daughter was praised by several teachers She left her on the potty all day, even when children were outside. My daughter would come home with red butt and now when she sees a potty she cries. She was also very rude to my mother, who came to pick up the child. She also put on a rubber gloves to take her hand and to take her out.
I am just grateful, that my daughter only three and doesn't understand that she was bullied by an adult who supposed to take care of her.

I am a parent of two. My oldest graduated from Mommy Daycare on Avenue Z in 2009, and my younger daughter is currently enrolled at the center. I agree wholeheartedly with the positive comments. As for the negative comment, I suspect they may have the location confused, as the center on Avenue Z actively promotes its after-school program (so, I don't think they would keep it a secret). Apparently, there is another center doing business as Mommy Daycare. That center is in Bensonhurst and, as far as I know, has no affiliation with the center on Avenue Z. I only discovered this fact when I asked a friend (unfamiliar with the area) to Google the address in order to pick up my daughter. Perhaps this may help clarify the two diametrically opposed reviews.

My daughters attend a daycare that is on this list but is not on the school reviews page. Is there a way to add them. I really would love to share this with other parents. Thank you. Please email me at alexandradvorian@ymail.com
