BREAKING NEWS: Pregnant woman dies after being struck by snow plow in Bay Ridge

A pregnant woman was struck and killed by snowplow at a Brooklyn parking lot in Bay Ridge Thursday, but doctors managed to deliver her baby, police sources said.

Emergency workers rushed the 36-year-old 8-month pregnant woman to Maimonides Medical Center in cardiac arrest at 10:45 a.m. The woman (whose name is not yet released) and her husband were loading their car with groceries from the Fei Long store on 63rd St. near Eighth Ave. when a snow-plow hit her. She later died in the hospital but the doctors performed an emergency c-section and delivered her baby boy who is still in critical condition, as per police.

Our condolences to the woman's family.
